Easts major works funding project 2024
Your club is undertaking a significant works program to rebuild the ground floor of the clubhouse to provide much-needed dressing room infrastructure. The funding for this $1,300,000 project comes from a number of sources, including internal funds from the club’s trading, members’ in-kind contributions, members’ significant cash contributions, and government grants.
Easts Rugby Union Inc. has expanded the participation base of the club over the past 5 years and aims to continue growing this base with a particular focus on female and all abilities. The facility upgrades of unisex changerooms, new female and male toilets, new medical room and inclusive changeroom for referees will add benefits for all current and future members as well as the wider community.

We build on foundations we did not lay
We warm ourselves by fires we did not light
We sit in the shade of trees we did not plant
We drink from wells we did not dig
This is as it should be
Together we are more than any one person could be
Together we can build across the generations
Together we can renew our hope and faith in the life that is yet to unfold
We are ever bound in community
May it always be so
